Fairs which fulfil the real needs of enterprises
The Italian Trade Fair System supported by CFI shall be more and more competitive with competitive Countries’ and shall aim at really fostering both the development of business exchanges and the internationalization of enterprises. With these purposes in mind, CFI undertakes to have the following accomplished:
- the Italian Law is constantly in line with the applicable Law in EU Countries;
- the Italian Trade Fair System is equipped with the highest-quality exhibiting structures and services to be run with the highest professionalism, efficient dedicated infrastructures and related services and activities capable of properly meeting exhibitors and visitors’ requirements;
- public actions are streamlined in order to be focussed on really internationally-oriented initiatives;
- enterprise-oriented initiatives are favoured by paying strong attention to enterprises’ needs, especially both small- and medium-size enterprises, for which trade fairs represent the main instrument of promotion and opening to international markets;
- the trade fair system is able to adapt to the evolution of the global market in time, by either improving and refining the exhibiting style as well as developing the Italian production system which best expresses its “Made in Italy” style;
- the Trade Fair System also develops through the organization of events abroad, by both putting the acquired know-how into practice and making the brands of the Italian trade fairs international;
Within this framework, CFI clearly wants to define the role played by the different entities inside the trade fair system, while using the rules of a free, open and competitive market as a measure of its accomplishment.
In order to fulfil its purposes, CFI serves as a referral source and competent interlocutor on behalf of the Italian entrepreneurial world in the relationships with government and local authorities, Fair Bodies running fairgrounds as well as other private and public operators within the fair chain.
Especially, CFI constantly cooperates with the responsible Local Government Agencies and Regional Departments by participating in the Advisory Committees for Trade Fairs, together with the Trade Fairs Interregional Coordination Body and the Italian Observatory for Trade Fairs, with the purpose of both implementing regional standards in the trade fair field as well as monitoring the evolution of the national trade fair system. As from July 8, 2010, the monitoring function has been undertaken by the Coordination Body of the National Fair System chaired by the Minister with authority to internationalization, supported by regional Councillors and Presidents of the various Associations operating in the trade fair universe, including CFI.
CFI collaboration with the entities of the national and international trade fair system
In order to reach its Charter objectives, CFI cooperates, at different national and international levels, with the various Associations within the trade fair universe as well as private and public bodies.
